Unlock CoDeSys v3.5 Project & Library Password

3:22 · Published Jun 2026

Platform: CODESYS

Recover a project or library password in CODESYS V3.5, the newer XML-based generation of the platform from 3S-Smart Software Solutions, built around the Library Manager with versioned, namespaced libraries. This covers user-rights and project passwords — CODESYS V3.5 separately supports protecting a project with a USB security key instead of (or alongside) a password, which is a different mechanism and not something this service covers. If you'd rather have it handled, I provide manual CODESYS recovery support — done personally, with nothing sold or downloaded from this site.

Questions

Which products and versions does this cover?

It applies to CODESYS V3.5 Development System, .project and .library files, Controllers from vendors licensing CODESYS, including WAGO, Phoenix Contact (PLCnext) and Eaton.

Who does the recovery?

I do, personally. Every job is manual — it isn't automated with a tool and it isn't resold to anyone else.

Do I have to own the equipment?

Yes. I only help owners and authorized maintainers regain access to their own projects — in line with the authorized-use-only policy on the channel.

Do you sell a tool or a download for this?

No. There are no tools for sale and no downloads on this site. Recovery is a manual service I perform or guide you through.
