Unlock ABB Compact Control Builder AC 800M Library Password

0:25 · Published Jun 2026

Platform: ABB

Recover a library password in an ABB Compact Control Builder (AC 800M) project. "Library Password Protection" is a literal section title in ABB's own Compact Control Builder manual, confirming it as a real, named feature for protecting standard, custom and user libraries from being edited. If you'd rather have it handled, I provide manual ABB recovery support — done personally, with nothing sold or downloaded from this site.

Questions

Which products and versions does this cover?

It applies to ABB Compact Control Builder (CCB) software, AC 800M controllers (PM851, PM860, PM861, PM864, PM865, PM866, PM891), System 800xA engineering libraries.

Who does the recovery?

I do, personally. Every job is manual — it isn't automated with a tool and it isn't resold to anyone else.

Do I have to own the equipment?

Yes. I only help owners and authorized maintainers regain access to their own projects — in line with the authorized-use-only policy on the channel.

Do you sell a tool or a download for this?

No. There are no tools for sale and no downloads on this site. Recovery is a manual service I perform or guide you through.
