Bypass Mitsubishi GX Works3 Security Key

2:58 · Published Dec 2025

Platform: Mitsubishi

Open a Mitsubishi GX Works3 project when the original security key is missing. The security key is a distinct, project-level protection from the FB/POU block password: Mitsubishi's own manual (Project → Security → Security Key Management) describes it as registered per-PC, and a computer without that registered key simply can't open the project data — regardless of whether any individual block is also password-protected. Critically, Mitsubishi's documentation notes the registered key is not removed by uninstalling GX Works3, which is exactly why a failed or replaced PC leaves the project locked even to its rightful owner. If you'd rather have it handled, I provide manual Mitsubishi recovery support — done personally, with nothing sold or downloaded from this site.

Questions

Which products and versions does this cover?

It applies to GX Works3 projects secured with Security Key Management, iQ-R / iQ-F / FX5U projects.

Who does the recovery?

I do, personally. Every job is manual — it isn't automated with a tool and it isn't resold to anyone else.

Do I have to own the equipment?

Yes. I only help owners and authorized maintainers regain access to their own projects — in line with the authorized-use-only policy on the channel.

Do you sell a tool or a download for this?

No. There are no tools for sale and no downloads on this site. Recovery is a manual service I perform or guide you through.
